Taiwan Stablecoin RegulationStage: LiveRegulator: Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) of TaiwanTaiwan's amended MLCA (eff. Nov 30, 2024) mandates AML registration for all VASPs but contains no stablecoin-specific rules. A draft VASP Act with explicit stablecoin issuance rules passed cabinet review in late 2025 and is pending legislative enactment. Taiwan's first regulated stablecoin is targeted for late 2026.
