Regulator: Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) & Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ)
Jordan shifted from a long-standing prohibition on cryptocurrency to a regulated framework with Law No. 14 of 2025. The law establishes licensing requirements for all Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) including exchanges, custodians, payment providers, brokers, and issuers. Stablecoins are covered as virtual assets, but no stablecoin-specific regulatory distinctions have been implemented.
