StraitsX is the trading name under the StraitsX Group of Companies with its affiliated entity, Xfers Pte. Ltd. Xfers Pte. Ltd. (‘Xfers’) is a Fintech platform for digital asset businesses headquartered in Singapore. Xfers is the holder of a Major Payment Institution license for e-money issuance services under the Payment Services Act 2019. StraitsX USD Issuance Pte. Ltd. (“StraitsX USD”) and StraitsX SGD Issuance Pte. Ltd. (“StraitsX SGD”) are both recognised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (‘MAS’) as a Major Payment Institution License holder to issue XUSD and XSGD. Additionally, MAS recognises that both stablecoins are compliant with the upcoming stablecoin regulatory framework.
